The short version
This website sets no cookies of its own. It runs no analytics, carries no advertising trackers, embeds no third-party scripts and loads no tracking pixels. Nothing about your visit is measured, and nothing follows you once you leave.
That is also why you have not been asked to accept anything. A consent banner exists to obtain permission for non-essential cookies; there are none here to permit.
What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store, so that it can recognise your browser on a later request. Related technologies do much the same job by other means: localStorage, sessionStorage, web beacons, tracking pixels. Some are strictly necessary for a site to function; most, in practice, exist to measure or to advertise.

Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie for security or load balancing on some requests. Such a cookie carries no identifier of you, is not used to build a profile, and under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive requires no consent.
Typefaces and external requests
The site is set in Cormorant Garamond, Jost and Mrs Saint Delafield. Although these are open-source faces published through Google Fonts, they are downloaded at build time and served from our own domain. Loading a page therefore sends no request to Google, and your IP address is disclosed to no font host.
Every photograph, stylesheet and script on this site is served from the same domain. There are no content-delivery networks, no video embeds and no third-party widgets.
Links away from this site
We link to our Instagram and Facebook profiles, and occasionally to a venue’s own website. These are ordinary links, not embeds. Nothing loads from those services until you choose to follow the link. Once you do, you are on their site, under their cookie policy, and we have no control over what they set.
Controlling cookies yourself
Nothing here needs to be blocked, but every major browser lets you review and delete cookies, refuse them entirely, or browse privately. Look under Settings, then Privacy, in Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge alike. Blocking cookies will not affect anything on this site.
Changes to this policy
